Question #2:

If the world is billions of years old, where are all the people?

Based on the Bible, there was a flood about 4,400 years ago. There were 8 people on the ark. From those 8 people having children we can easily get to the 7 billion people we have today.

But if the world is billions of years old there should many more people (even if you account for wars, famines, and plagues). So where are the missing people? Or could it be that man has been on the earth for less time than we think?

Okay, im looking to hack my wii and do some fun things on call of duty world at war on my wii. But, i dont no where to start. Can you please help me by giving me step by step directions on what to do and how to do them! Thanks a lot!!

Question #4:

This is a dumb question but why am I concerned about the numbers of ISAF personnel killed in Afghanistan?

As a Math Major in college getting a B+ GPA in Math and Science classes and a B- overall GPA counting humanities why should my mind refuse to see the logic in the extremely low casualty figures of ISAF personnel killed. It shouldn't matter to anyone and not even make the news they are so low.

My great grandfather was a WW1 veteran and he never returned to his small village in the Transylvanian Mountains controlled at the time by Austria Hungary. He went to war and is presumed dead because he just disapeared in a battle in Italy over a little town i the Italian Alps. He was described as a sweet boy (maybe even a little gay from the way family describes him lol lol) and he married at 15 to a 13 year old girl who became my great grandmother. She was pregnant with my grandmother and she wanted some sweets. Being a devoted hubby and even though the Jewish Sabbath was about to begin and all stores were closed he went out to find her what she wanted. As he was wandering around the village trying to find sweet (and Kosher) honey cakes for his wife he was seen by a group of soldiers who were kidnaping young men for the Army. They saw him and even though he pleaded with them that he only barely turned 16 and married too they took him and threw him in the back of a wagon with some other captured young men. Eventually he went to the front and died during the Battle of Isonzo in Northern Italy. His remains were never recovered. The total killed in all armies of the first World War was 9.5 million men approximately. It was butchery on a grand scale.

Fast forward to the Vietnam War and my grandpa served in the US Army in Infantry there. He told me that over 50,000 were killed in that war. He was drafted (conscripted) in 1965 because he dropped a college class and lost his deferment. He was getting a D in a class in Analytical Geometry (a totally cinchy subject lol lol) and decided to drop the class. The draft board found out and took him in after a few months.

Now my dear sweet husband is being deployed soon and I'm so worried about him. Logically, his war is only killing a few compared to my great grandfather's war and my grand father's war. Yet I'm so worried and cring everytime a story comes out about the monthly casualties. Maybe it would be better to not publish those figures.

Question #5:

Has this basic plot been used too many times before?

THE LAST WAR WIZARD

Book One: The Luminaries

In the world of Eldenaria, magic is outlawed by none other than the most powerful magician - or Wizard as they are most commonly known. However, the Wizard’s son, Wilfred Hanley, discovers he has the Gift. And what’s more, he wants to use it! Knowing he’ll never be allowed to use it and maybe even killed by his tyrannical father who is the king’s chief advisor giving him unlimited power just underneath the king, Wilfred runs away to join up with a group of rebels who have called themselves the Luminaries.

Because they feel that magic is a perfectly fine tool to use and believe that mankind has a right to use it just as they would any other tool. Even though he becomes branded as an outlaw and brigand for becoming a Luminary, Wilfred holds true to his cause and studies his Gift which turns out to be even stronger than that of his father…

… Who comes searching for him with an army of Wizards and the best knights in the realm. For according to an ancient prophecy, Wilfred is none other than the last War Wizard - the only wizard with the powers enough to destroy totally and completely unlike all other wizards who become a Sorcerer or Black Wizard if they use their powers for violence. Because the clock is ticking and an old enemy far worse than any who has walked the earth is about to be unleashed heralding none other than the Apocalypse: The End of Days.

Only Wilfred can stop him!

=======================>

Well, that's about it. The monster may be a dragon or something else entirely. I have a real funny idea in mind that you guys would least expect but I might not write that. It all depends if I want the story to be serious or humour fantasy. I don't know just yet. It might also be a mix of the two. By the way, there'll be some romance between Wilfred Hanley (called Will for short) and one of the rebels. So what do you think? I know the basic plot of the story is used in a LOT of fantasy books but I kina want to use it. It's mainly a war between wizards as his dad is a real bad guy and makes an alliance with all the other Wizards who became Sorcerers since Wizards (except for a War Wizard) can't fight. And Wilfred Hanley is the last War Wizard. Any advice?

Thanks a ton in advance! :-)

Question #7:

Would this intrigue you?

Title: An Apprentice's Apocalypse - Book One - The Elf's Apprentice

Plot: Quentin Striker is just an ordinary carpenter until he takes up a job offer from a mysterious but kindly old man who seems to have enough secrets for everyone in the entire world of Eldenaria. But one dark and stormy night, Quentin discovers just by accident the truth of who the man really is. In fact, he's not a man at all but an elf. What's more, he's the chief Magic Caster amongst the elves.

However, almost all the elves have left the elf kingdom of Eldenstar due to a battle with the Shadow Bearers (the worst kind of monsters in Eldenaria) and the elvish Magic Caster cannot find an elf to be his apprentice for they are all gone off to war. But if there is no one else to learn the ancient art, Magic will run wild throughout the world wrecking untold havoc thus its name: Wild Magic. Quentin also discovers from the other equally mysterious visitor who seems to have issues about showing his or her face that he, Quentin Striker - not only a human but a simple carpenter with hardly a reputation - is the only one whom the elf, whose true name is Soril, can take up as an apprentice for all the other elves are needed for the war.

Wanting answers, Quentin bursts into the room only to find another surprise awaiting him ~ the mysterious visitor is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen in his entire sixteen years of life. Even though she's an elf and he knows it too, he falls in love with her at first sight. Not wanting to dissapoint her even if she doesn't like him, he tells Soril what he heard and agrees to take on the job as the elf's apprentice.

So it is that Soril, Lythulwaith (the elf woman) and Quentin Striker journey to Eldenstar. As if practicing Magic isn't hard enough, it's practically a war to stay alive because of the deadly assassins an unkonw enemy is sending after them. And all the while, Soril and Lythulwaith are trying to find out who has unleashed the Shadow Bearers from their age-old prison. Will they succeed? Or will the world of Eldenaria be destroyed in this, truly, apprentice's apocalypse?

===============>

Well, that's about it! What do you think? I know it's kinda typical but I kind of wanted it to be a faerie tale from the traditional scope of sequence if you get my meaning. Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton in advance! :-)

Question #8:

Please, can you give me your honest opinion about my story idea?

Question #9:

What do you think of this poem? {theme of war}?

Beauty in her eyes defies fear,
Yet drowns the world with a single tear,
She walks her path with a covered face,
As the wind of time covers her trace,

With a sigh of longing she turns around,
To a home lost, but within is found,
Memories and lives she left behind,
Horrors of past that haunt her mind,

'My home, my land, my beautiful gowns,
Are dyed in black and filled with frowns,
In the memory of my father and brother,
No one ever thought to help or even bother,
To turn to me, the one left in the shadows,
My nights and days left the prey to gallows,
My mother was my life and before me slaughtered,
How much more can I be hurt and tortured?"

She spoke of words that resided minds,
She knew horrors of war, in all its kinds,
Would the time come for it all to end?
For her wounds of loss to heal and mend?
This is a poem inspired by many women who witnessed war.. in Afghan, Gaza, including Serbrenica Massacre..

Question #10:

Do you think 2012 is going to happen?? If you do, why do you think so?

Personally, I think that the Mayans just decided to cut off the calendar at 2012, because maybe they hadn't thought that the human civilization would go that far. And the ending of the calendar is a big coincidence. Also, there had been many prophecies about the end of the world, and none of them are true obviously. And there is this guy that is very good at predicting the future and a lot of things he predicted actually came true (he also predicted that there will be World War III and then years of peace between the mankind.)

If it was up to me, I would ask Paul the Octopus about 2012 :)

Question #14:

I've noticed that deaths in Afghanistan of ISAF are increasing; what are they going to do about that?

My concern is actually personal because my husband is deploying soon so I'm getting more worried. First my grandfather is a Vietnam Veteran and was drafted (conscripted) in the US Army in 1965 because he had to drop a class in college because he was getting a D and lost his deferement. He told me that his Draft Board didn't have inough volunteers so they would not wait until the next semester for him to get his deferment back and took him in anyway. He was in Infantry (my husband also) and said that over 50,000 died in Vietnam. The numbers dying in Afghanistan are small compared to that so is it actually nothing really to worry about that 50 to 100 die every month? Also, my great grandfather served in the Austro-Hungarian Army in World War 1. I read where overall 9.5 milion men of all Armies died in that war. My great grandfather died too but he was drafted out of his village in Transylvania (home of Dracula lol lol) and had already married and his wife was pregnant with my grandmother. They refused to accept his word that he was a married man plus that he was only 16 at the time and conscripted him anyway. He was out running errands before the Jewish Sabbath. They actually kidnapped him and took him and some other captured men to the training base. He never returned and is presumed dead.

Anyway with 9.5 million dead in WW1, 50,000 dead in Vietnam, why should such small numbers of killed today in Afghanistan even be news. So what that the love of my life dies. So what that his daughter (our newborn baby) never knows her father. SO WHAT!!!

Question #15:

Why do you think Justin Credible never did as much in the WWE as he accomplished in ECW?

He had such a great career over in ECW.He was apart of one of the best tag teams in ECW.Foremr World Champion and he was always a part of some major storyline.Over in the WWF he was given a mask and called Man'O War and that gimmick never got off the ground, and then he came in part of the ECW invasion and he never did much other than that. His promos were really good.I thought that he and X-Pac made a pretty good team.
yeah Aldo is the same guy as Man "O War I thought.

Question #16:

Which system is the best for human beings?

There were many systems in the world capitalism, socialism, communism, imperialism, mercantilism, feudalism etc... But none of them gave the whole population full access to food(clean water and healthy food)education(not just literate but graduate),accomodation(not a mansion but a decent house)health(free good quality health care)!! In history there were always famine, wars, ignorant and illiterate people, diseases etc... Normal people don't care about systems they just want the four basic things:health, food, accomodation and education. If any system provides the 4 basic to the whole population of the planet,it is the best system ever!!!!!!

Question #17:

God Of War 3 Kratos PS3?

is it the best game in the world or what?!?!
give it your little review please

Question #18:

Who was the worst U.S. president?

Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush or Obama

The previous century has been, by far, the bloodiest in human history. Hunger, famine and disease took billions of innocent lives. World Wars 1 and 2, along with the despotic regimes of Mao, Pol Pot, Stalin, Hitler, Reagan, Bush and others, took hundreds of millions. The 21st century is shaping up to accelerate this dismal trend where hunger, famine and disease are reaping record levels of death (the equivalent of 7 jewish holocaust annually).
